Audit-ready AI you can trust

- A solid data foundation. Tanso AI works on your own verified data and the Tanso emission factor database, not on generic internet knowledge. Your data never trains third-party models.
- Built and hosted in Germany. GDPR-compliant and ISO/IEC 27001-certified, with data hosted in Germany and a TÜV Rheinland-certified methodology.
- Human control by default. Tanso AI proposes, it doesn't decide on its own. No agent writes results into your balance sheet or report before a person has reviewed and approved them.
- No black box, audit-ready by design. Every AI-assisted action is flagged and backed by its source. You can see what a result is based on and trace it back to the original document or dataset. Results come with source, context, and an approval step, and hold up under review.

Tanso fits into your AI strategy, not the other way around
The Tanso agents work directly within the Tanso platform. If your organization uses its own AI systems, the Tanso MCP Server (Model Context Protocol) lets them query ESG data from Tanso securely and live, without custom integration. Any AI frontend, whether Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or your own AI agent, connects to Tanso through the standard. Tanso's access permissions apply to AI agents as well, read-only by default, with every query logged. Your ERP stays the system of record, and no new data silo is created.
