What do I do if my suppliers cannot provide primary data?
You start with recognized secondary factors and close data gaps step by step via the integrated supplier portal. Data quality becomes visible for each emission source, so you can prioritize where primary data has the biggest impact.
Is the corporate carbon footprint (CCF) audit-ready?
The calculation methodology is TÜV Rheinland certified and built on the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064. An integrated audit trail with dedicated auditor access makes every line item traceable.
Does Tanso cover emission factors for mixed materials (wood, metal, plastic, ceramics)?
Yes. The integrated emission factor database includes specialized factors for furniture materials, sanitary ceramics, metalworking, and plastics. The database is continuously expanded, including for industry-specific products.
How do I calculate PCFs for hundreds of product variants and configurations?
Tanso imports bills of materials and configuration data directly from your ERP or PLM system and automatically derives PCFs for all variants from a base model. Changes to materials or suppliers propagate automatically to all affected products, without you having to rebuild the dataset.
How does Tanso fit into our existing IT landscape (SAP, ERP, PIM, PLM)?
Tanso is ERP, PIM and PLM compatible. You get started with structured CSV imports, and API integrations with SAP or other systems can follow later. No ERP overhaul required.
How do I deliver CCF data for CDP requests from my customers or for conversations with banks?
Tanso creates corporate carbon footprints according to the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064, including Scope 1, 2 and 3.
