The calculation methodology is TÜV Rheinland certified and built on the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064. An integrated audit trail with dedicated auditor access makes every line item traceable.
Does Tanso support the different PPWR roles for suppliers, manufacturers and those placing packaging on the market?
Yes. In Tanso, you can map role-specific data requirements for suppliers, your own production and customers. The integrated supplier portal structures data collection accordingly, so each party only provides the information relevant to its role.
How does Tanso automatically create a declaration of conformity (DoC) under the PPWR?
You record your packaging with materials, blanks and components once in Tanso. The DoC is generated automatically for each packaging and documents recyclability, recycled content and proof of minimization. Changes to materials or suppliers propagate automatically to the affected DoCs.
How does Tanso fit into our existing IT landscape (SAP, ERP, PIM)?
Tanso is ERP, PIM and data lake compatible. You get started with structured CSV imports, and API integrations with SAP or other systems can follow later. No ERP overhaul required.
